BPS Tasikmalaya Municipality team collected data on the 2022 Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek) to the number one person in Tasikmalaya Municipality, Drs. H. Muhammad Yusuf, Monday (17/10/2022). He very positively welcomed the arrival of the team from BPS Tasikmalaya Municipality. He strongly supports this Regsosek, because the future targets are programs for development, especially poverty alleviation programs in Tasikmalaya Municipality.

The data collection on the number one person in the Tasikmalaya Municipality was led directly by the Head of BPS Tasikmalaya Municipality, Bambang Pamungkas. The Head of BPS Tasikmalaya Municipality explained that this Regsosek data collection would ask about profiles, social conditions, economic conditions, welfare levels, conditions of population disabilities, and so on.

A total of 1,173 officers spread across all sub-districts began to record families without exception in the period from October 15 to November 14, 2022. All residents of the Tasikmalaya Municipality must be recorded, including those living in special areas such as Islamic boarding schools, military barracks, correctional facilities, orphanages / nursing homes, etc. Even the homeless who live nomadic were the targets of data collection.

This Regsosek data collection is very important to realize the One Data Social Protection Program as a step in the Reform of the Social Protection System. This data collection will produce an integrated database that is not only for social protection but also for all programs needed by the community for government policies that are more focused, integrated, not overlapping, and more efficient. In addition, related to the interests of development planning and evaluation, Regsosek data will bridge the coordination and sharing of data across institutions/ministries. For this reason, all people who will be visited by officers must provide data in accordance with honest conditions so that the resulting data is accurate and on target.
