Tasikmalaya City – BPS Tasikmalaya City held a flag ceremony to coincide with the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The ceremony was attended by all BPS employees of Tasikmalaya City wearing traditional regional clothing. The theme of this year's Indonesian Independence Day is "New Nusantara Indonesia Maju".

In the mandate of the Acting Head of BPS RI delivered by the Head of BPS Tasikmalaya City, several important things were conveyed:

- BPS from the central to regional levels ensures that the data collected and presented must be of high quality.

- The development of sectoral statistics must meet the One Data Principle.

- Expanding the role of BPS, not only stopping at providing data but also providing insights as the basis for national policy formation.
