Abstract
The development of prices for
various commodities in August 2021 generally showed an increase. Based on the
results of BPS-Statistics Tasikmalaya Municipality monitoring, in August 2021 there was
an inflation of 0.02 percent, or an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
from 104.35 in July 2021 to 104.37 in August 2021. The inflation rate for the
calendar year August 2021 was 0.74 percent and the inflation rate from year to
year year (August 2021 against August 2020) by 1.39 percent.
